GRAND OPENING AND INAUGURAL FASHION SHOW FOR OVERTOWN SHOPPING PLAZA’S SUITE ONE TEN URBAN WEAR STORE

City of Miami Commission Chairman Keon Hardemon and The Southeast Overtown / Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) will join Suite One Ten for its official grand opening and Inaugural Fashion Show. The event will take place this Friday, June 8, 2018 from 7:00p.m.-10:00p.m at the CRA owned Overtown Shopping Plaza located at 1490 NW 3^rd Avenue, Miami, FL 33136.‍

Suite One Ten is a premier urban wear clothing store located at the Overtown Shopping Plaza that offers the latest in men’s fashion trends. The business is owned by Overtown native Ultrina Harris, which opened in November after entering into a commercial lease and after being awarded a $92,000 grant from the CRA.  A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place  followed by a fashion show featuring the latest trends from Suite One Ten as well as local designers. There will also be a performance by Overtown artists Piccalo & Veto. The event is free to the public and vendor opportunities are available.

The CRA Board of Commissioners awards grants to small businesses whose principal place of business is in Overtown to assist with interior and exterior buildouts. For more information contact the CRA at
